Cleans an entire 250 m² house on a single charge!"... that’s what the product description claims, but how is that supposed to work with a battery that has barely half the capacity of a modern smartphone's battery? You should probably view that claim—just like the boldly advertised 50 kPa suction power—for what it really is: marketing speak. That way, you won't be disappointed when, in real-world use, it only manages about 50–60 m² of low-pile carpet. That, at least, should be easily achievable on medium power.

We use the vacuum mainly for quick clean-ups and as a regular supplement to our robot vacuum. The SunSare X7A is absolutely perfect for tight corners and the guest toilet—areas the robot vacuum can't reach due to layout constraints. While the battery likely won't last 10 minutes on full power, it gets a lot of work done in that time; plus, the floor brush is so effortless to maneuver that I almost find myself enjoying vacuuming. But okay, let's not get carried away... ;o)

The upholstery nozzle, which is permanently integrated into the motor unit, was one of the reasons I chose this device; it means the nozzle is always right there when you need it, without having to fetch it from somewhere else. However, the motor block does reliably get in the way when trying to reach into really tight corners. So, I needed a flexible hose—which SunSare actually offers as an accessory. Unfortunately, my inquiry to SunSare—asking if there was an upholstery nozzle available for that hose or if they could recommend one from another manufacturer—didn't yield any results. I took a chance and ordered an upholstery nozzle designed for the "Bulelink G10," which looks virtually identical in construction. Sure enough—while this third-party nozzle wouldn't fit the telescopic tube or the motor unit directly, it fits perfectly onto the end of the hose (where it’s meant to be used anyway). It now hangs on the charging dock along with the hose and telescopic tube (see photo). Of course, I won't know how long the vacuum will last for another two or three years, but right now, I am extremely satisfied with it.

Finally, a proper "man's vacuum cleaner"—and at a great price-performance ratio.

The Sun Sare vacuum is very well-designed and made from high-quality materials. Its suction power is excellent; naturally, you can't compare it to an industrial Kärcher model, but the Sun Sare is much lighter, cheaper, and—crucially—battery-operated. The illuminated nozzle makes it very easy to spot dust on the floor; I particularly like this feature. Emptying the dust bin is quick and easy. The noise level is acceptable—definitely quieter than my old Siemens vacuum.

I use the vacuum for quick clean-ups to remove dust from my carpet, bathroom, and kitchen, and the battery life is perfectly adequate for these tasks.

Of course, the vacuum requires regular cleaning and maintenance; all the necessary information is included in the box, along with two spare HEPA filters.

In summary:

- acceptable noise level

- solid suction power

- long-lasting battery for smaller areas

- extremely user-friendly, including cleaning

- I really love the illuminated nozzle—I wouldn't want to be without it now

- great design and high-quality build.

My initial assessment is definitely positive. It was assembled in no time. The vacuum has plenty of power; I vacuumed every room in our 60 m² apartment. I tested various modes, and after 20 minutes, there was still 50% charge left. It performs very well. The integrated light reveals every crumb, ensuring nothing gets missed. It fits comfortably in the hand—not too heavy—and operates at a pleasant noise level. If the suction tube isn't fully extended, the unit can stand upright on its own. One detail: I charge the battery separately so it switches off once fully charged; charging it in the dock keeps it in a trickle-charge mode, though that shouldn't be an issue. It’s also great that the battery is replaceable. I still have my old Bosch Flexxo cordless vacuum, which finally needs replacing after five years because the battery is losing power; this one is taking its place. All in all, a good purchase at a fair price. It’s a vacuum that certainly rivals overpriced models. Time will tell how it holds up with long-term use. Highly recommended.
